Change of Circumstances

This month I got a new job, it took way longer than I had hoped but I finally got one at a place I really want to work, earning a way better wage than my last job and I'm really looking forward to learning new skills and doing something useful again. This past year has been really good for me, I've had the time to work on my craft and I think I've really improved at pattern alteration and construction. I've also shaken off the bad feeling my last job gave me, like a mild PTSD I needed to recover from.

I have achieved so much in the last 12 months, I have some great new clothes I can wear at work, I won that brilliant sewing machine that has helped massively with my projects, I love those edge stitches, and I made some really nice gifts for other people.

Anyway I will be working full time so my creative projects will have to take a backseat, at least until I settle in. I will be mostly working on my other project in my spare time and christmas gifts, I won't be able to blog about those for a few months so I might not have a lot to say for a while. I have some great gift plans though, I'm looking forward to making a start on those. If I manage to sneak in a pair of leggings or something I'll let you know.
